I was so impressed by Sugar Land dive center. My instructor Kendall had a wonderful sense of humor and a large amount of patience. He made the learning process a breeze. They make sure to keep the groups small which makes a huge difference. The owner Peter helped multiple times with scheduling for my hour & half drive. I would highly recommend Sugar Land Dive Center!
The Sugar Land Dive Center will take it's time and help with any question you might have. The instructors are very patient and informative about the diving world. Great Guest Services at Sugar Land Dive Shop. Do not look anywhere else to get certified for SCUBA diving. Oh, They also do swim lesson and discovery snorkeling. This was a awesome experience and very affordable.
Sugar Land Dive Center is great. I got my open and advanced certification here. They are very helpful with selecting gear and will give advice on best places to dive.
This place is awesome! Our instructor, Jimmy, was funny, patient, informative, and made everyone feel comfortable. Peter was so helpful from the moment we first walked into the shop to going out of his way to mail us our certification cards since we don't live in Sugar Land. I highly recommend getting certified here! Kudos to this dive shop and it's fantastic customer service and staff!!
We were certified this past weekend and have had a great experience with Sugar Land Dive Center! Alex was our instructor and was very thorough and patient. She was great!!! Highly recommend her and Sugar Land Dive Center!
Sugar Land Dive Center is wonderful. Irene is taking the classes to get her certificate. Our dive instructor is Jeff. He is so patient and funny. Peter and Chris are so helpful with the gear selection.
You must do your IDC with Phil Hetherington! Did you ever have that teacher in school that was somehow able to be so cool you wished you could hangout with them after class yet they were still able to push you to work hard and really learn the course material? That’s Phil! I had the best two weeks in Roatan doing my IDC with Phil. I was nervous for the IE, because who doesn’t get nervous before a big test, but Phil had us beyond prepared to blow that test out of the water and he was the first to call for a bucket of ice cold Salva’s to celebrate with our class when we all passed!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was a trip of a lifetime! I can't believe I just spent a week in the Maldives! The team was very organised and professional and we even got to see whale sharks.....FOUR TIMES. And I cannot count all the mantas. The boat was great and very comfy. I'll be back next year for sure. Thanks guys!
Just Open Water Certified 13 and 16 y sons. SL was great, my boys had a great experience... Even in cold December water (SL includes thick wetsuits for the open water dives to keep 'em comfortable). The on-site indoor pool is perfect for the initial training. I recommend them to everyone

I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Phil, the owner, it's impossible to say anything negative about the him, just an fantastic guy. Tim , the course director, was so knowledgeable and professional , just an outstanding mentor. When you go there you don't want to leave because Phil and the whole staff have developed a culture of friendliness and positivity.
