Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI MSDT Prep Course, you must meet the following prerequisites:
- Be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or enrolled in a PADI IDC
- Have at least 10 logged dives in each specialty you apply for
* The following PADI Specialty Courses have additional prerequisites. You need to have earned your Specialty Diver certification for these specialties. If you haven’t yet earned your specialty diver certification in these specialties, you can take the diver-level course in conjunction with your instructor training.

Course Duration and Scheduling
The PADI MSDT Prep Course typically takes 4-6 days to complete, depending on the specialties you choose. The course is instructor-led and will cover:

PADI Standards, administrative requirements, and certification procedures for each specialty

How to demonstrate and explain open-water skills for each specialty

Knowledge Development presentations relevant to your selected specialties
Scheduling: We schedule MSDT Prep courses in conjunction with our PADI IDC sessions. However, we also offer on-demand scheduling for greater flexibility, allowing you to choose dates that best suit your schedule.

Please note that PADI Specialty Instructor fees are not included in the course price. These fees are $92.00 per specialty applied for and are payable directly to PADI for each specialty certification.
